Are you a musician (musical group) or dancer (dance troop) looking for an
opportunity to perform in public? One of the missions of the Société du parc
Jean-Drapeau is to promote culture and the arts and it is currently seeking
artists interested in being a part of its 2008 Week-ends du monde program.
We offer two ways to participate:
« JEUDIS CLASSIQUES »
On a more “classical” note, musicians – in duos, trios or quartets – are invited
to submit a program covering a period of 30 minutes or more.
Concerts will take place on the Week-ends du monde site between 5 p.m. and 7
p.m., Thursday July 10 and Thursday July 17, 2008.
« VIVRE NOS CULTURES! »
The Société du parc Jean-Drapeau is proud to celebrate the diversity of Montréal
and will devote two pleasure-packed days, July 4 and 5, 2008,
to a celebration of culture during Vivre nos Cultures!
Committed to offering high-quality shows and cultural projects, the Société du
parc Jean-Drapeau is seeking creative participants with a passion for their art
– musicians, singers, dancers, entertainers, artisans – to become part of its
programming various stages during the Week-ends du monde and bring to light
Montréal’s remarkable multicultural wealth.
